Comprehensive Eye Examinations

Healthy eye care starts with regular routine examinations. During these exams we will check your vision and determine the most precise eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions for the sharpest distance, computer, and reading prescriptions. Our thorough exams include screening for many common eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Many systemic diseases including high blood pressure, diabetes, and thyroid disorders are often detected by routine eye examinations. We are fully committed to explaining the results of your eye health and visions to you and will answer any of your questions.

Contact Lens:

We are fully committed to those patients that prefer not to have glasses on their faces! We offer a wide array of contact lens options ad are willing to work with you until we find a prescription that you are satisfied with. We fit both the rigid gas permeable and soft lens for a wide array of conditions including astigmatism. For those patients that need them we also offer contacts for presbyopia (people that have trouble seeing things up close) including both multifocal and monovision options. We also love helping those difficult to fit patients with eye diseases such as keratoconus, Pellucid marginal degeneration, or post-refractive surgery (LASIK, RK, and PRK). We often fit children for contacts as well if the child prefers not to wear glasses or they are active in sports.

Eyewear:

We offer a wide range of eyewear for people of all ages. From the youngest of children to those that will need bifocals we have you covered! We carry glasses children even under a year old and have plenty of wonderful options of sports goggles as well. Whether you are looking for something unique, just looking for an economical pair of glasses, or anywhere in between we will find a pair of glasses that you will enjoy.

Sunglasses:

An often over looked form of eye protection is sunglasses. From the beautiful sunny days in the summer to the glare coming off the snow sunglasses can help reduce damage caused by the sun. Whether you just want sunglasses for driving, boating/fishing, motorcycling and any sports sunglasses.

Premium Progressive:

For those patients that struggle to see things both far and near we have wonderful lens options! Our trained opticians will skillfully select the best progressive lenses to help fit your needs. Our premium lenses are custom wavefront lenses to which helps to cut down on not only on your refractive error but also higher order aberrations. The older style progressive lenses ignored these higher order aberrations and weren’t nearly as effective at helping people with night vision problems or those patients that had difficulty with a “fish bowl” feeling. Come and see us today if you want to see the difference!

Ocular Disease:

A lot of people think that as optometrists we only see patients for glasses and contacts. This simply isn’t true! Are your eyes red? Do they seem to water? We evaluate and follow different diseases of the eye including dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Do you have a systemic disease like diabetes or high blood pressure? We follow these diseases as well! From our welders that get metal in their eyes to our patients that get a scratch on their corneas we are here to help you get back on the road to recovery!
