Dr. Jennifer (Miller) Smith spent her early years on a dairy farm in Shreve. She attended Triway High School where she was a varsity cheerleader, nominated as the prom queen, and earned the title of valedictorian. She then attended Ohio Wesleyan University, in Delaware, Ohio, and majored in Pre-Optometry, all while being involved in Delta Gamma sorority and on the cheerleading squad for both football and basketball. She was then accepted to The Ohio State University College of Optometry where she spent 4 years finishing her schooling. While there, her love for all things sports only grew, as she attended every home football game and even traveled to Tempe, AZ to watch the Buckeyes play in the National Championship game (and unfortunately lose).
After graduation, Dr. Smith took over as the doctor at The Looking Glass and Loudonville Family Vision. Her favorite thing about her job is practicing in two smaller towns where she often develops relationships with entire families of patients. She is passionate about providing the highest quality eye care, not only providing patients with excellent eyeglass prescriptions, but also ensuring that patients have perfect ocular health, guarding against diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. After so many years of schooling, she is happy to state that she truly enjoys going to work every day to care for her patients.
Dr. Smith has been married to her husband, Ryan, for over 9 years and they enjoy living in the country with their (spoiled) dog, Quinn and their 3 children.
